Leg #2: Chesapeake Pitstop

Well after two days of motoring it was time to refuel and get some sleep.

I sailed (actually motored) past the Chesapeake bridge and Over the tunnel and stopped at the Cape Charles Town Harbor for the night.

Then found that the fuel dock was too shallow for Morpheus even at high tide. Not a nice surprise.

Then spent the next few hour filling my tanks with 100 gallons of diesel via my four 5 gallon Jerry jugs. Do the math it wasn’t fun.

Got it done and got lots of sleep.

I think the most memorable part of my stay in cape Charles will be the total lack of cell service when I could see the biggest antenna towers ever right across the harbor.

No cell service?
