Deb and I left the boat in Newport and flew to California for a week in mid-August.
We flew in and out of the San Francisco Bay Area, so we spent two nights with Patrick and Kelsey and I was finally able to see their new house!!
The primary excuse for the trip was to attend Josh Braverman & Katie Hawkins’ wedding which was held at the fantastic Evergreen Lodge just outside of Yosemite National Park.
A great fringe benefit of this wedding was that we were able to spend some time with both of our sons. Right after the wedding, we were able to spend two days at our cabin in Twain Harte. We did a bit of work, played a little golf, and celebrated Chris’ birthday while we were there.
Oh, and on the way back down the mountain, I did manage to make a quick stop at one of my favorite ice cream shops in Jamestown!
And of course, managed to make a quick stop at my favorite Cal dive bar on the way to the airport
