Swimming off of Morpheus usually ends with us sitting in our floaty chairs, using the paddle board as a cocktail table. We usually have ourself tethered to the boat by a long line so that we don’t go floating away.
Yesterday, Kim and I were doing just that. Enjoying a glass of wine and chatting. Suddenly, a big freaking sea turtle surfaced about 2 feet from me. He saw that he was not alone, and quickly dove, getting tangled in our tether line, and gave Kim, me and the cocktail table 2 seconds of a Nantucket Sleigh Ride!!! Obviously he did not check out what was above him before he surfaced! Not to worry. No wine was spilled during this encounter!
