Morpheus was designed by Carl Schumacher, built by Davie Norris Boatbuilders in New Zealand and launched in 2002. She spent her first 18 months cruising the South Pacific before reaching her home port of San Francisco. Since that time, Morpheus has been raced and cruised extensively. This blog will document her ongoing adventures.
Generally, Morpheus feels like a pretty big boat. But, here at EMV this Winter we’ve been placed right next to the 145′ Super Yacht Mirabella III and that makes us look like a toy boat. On the plus side, they make a fantastic wind block!!

Afraid not. Two engine fires was enough for me to cut my losses and give up on it. Lots of others have had similar quality issues. I don’t expect that company to last long.
