We are back in Greece, onboard our boat, and having a bit of trouble figuring out how to restart this blog of ours.
Many of you know that I lost my Mother to a terrible disease (COPD) in late June, and have been home helping to sort out her affairs until just a few days ago. She was a great lady, mother, and friend to many.
She was also the person that I wrote this blog for. If we posted an update, we’d hear back with questions or suggestions within 24 hours. She was our biggest fan, and served as a virtual crew always ready to do a bit of research or help us with our plans. As Mike Wallach says, “She was our reader!”. We don’t have many of those, so we’ll see how the blog changes going forward.
Anyway, to get things kicked off, here is a quick video with a few pictures taken over the last week as we returned to Greece, the boat, and the company of some friends!!

So sorry to hear of your mother’s passing Jim. We know how much you will miss Shirley. Although we do not have brilliant suggestions nor provide profound research, we do enjoy reading about you magnificent adventures. Safe travels ❤
