We’ve visited this area several times in the past. In fact, every time that we’ve come to Maine the beautiful scenery and lack of crowds have made it a favorite stop. With Skipper and Nancy Helme we snagged mussels off the rocks and made “the best” spaghetti dinner ever. With Kim Comfort and Doug and Sue McNally we played cards and drank way too much wine under the stars. Once we came by ourselves. But, each of those times we went straight up the very narrow channel to Winter Harbor.
This time, we decided to try something new. This is often a difficult thing to do when you like your previous spot so much. In any case, we did it and this time turned left and worked our way into Seal Cove.
Wow!! Just spectacular and like Winter Harbor not crowded at all. The pictures don’t do it justice but we loved it!!

We loved Seal Cove too!! We went twice! Second time we hit bottom early morning while at anchor so choose your spot wisely.
