Tracy Usher, Brother Bob and I spent a week helping our friend John Callahan deliver his boat from Florida to Newport.
It was an easy trip that included a three day diversion into Cape May, NJ. to avoid sailing in a very strong gale that crossed our intended path between NYC and Newport.
We motored 90% of the way North from Florida to Cape May in very light winds from directly behind us, and then 100% of the way to Newport. Not all that exciting, but we broke NOTHING!!!
A boring delivery is the best delivery!
The boat prep, food, and entertainment along the way was all first class. Thanks for a great trip John and Susu!! I am worried that you spoiled my brother and he may change teams!
