My brother Bob and sister Lori flew into Newport in time to celebrate my 60th birthday before sailing on a “back to the future” cruise from Newport to our childhood home of Stamford, Ct.
Deb and I had the boat prepped for the trip to the Caribbean and we planned to meet the crew in Stamford. So, we sailed from Newport to Block Island where we were the ONLY visiting boat in the harbor (amazing), before moving on to Port Jefferson, Long Island and Eatons Neck, Long Island before arriving in Stamford.
