Twain Harte, Family Cabin

In 1960, my grandfather built a small cabin in the Sierra Foothills town of Twain Harte.

It’s nothing special, but it’s the only thing that has been in the family since I was born and I’ve always loved to visit.

This past year, Deb and I have spent quite a bit of time back in California enjoying the run up to our son Patrick’s wedding and helping wherever we could.

Since our house in Danville has been rented, we have been “homeless” and have had to rely on the generosity of many friends for beds (thank you!), while using the cabin as our basecamp!

It’s been a great solution for us while visiting and here is a big thank you to Bob and Cathy Gregory for letting us monopolize it so much during our visits!!
