Arrival in Sardinia

Our favorite quote of the day – "this place is amazing, we need to figure out where we are!"

After a 34 hour passage from Mahon we dropped anchor just as the sun set over the nearby headlands.

That's cutting it pretty close as we hate to arrive in new harbors without plenty of daylight.

We chose this anchorage because it was as far as we could get with daylight. It was simply a spot on the chart that looked safe.

Anyway, we may have had a sense of how nice a spot we'd stumbled upon but it was not the result of masterful planning.

This morning we woke up to this and now we've decided to stay for a day or two!
