We have reconnected with our New Zealand friends Paul & Amanda Mitchell and “plan” to spend the next week or so buddy boating with them. They have both lived in Greece, and we expect to benefit from their experience. Amanda actually speaks Greek, but we have all commented on the fact that English seems to be be as common here as the local language.
Morpheus was designed by Carl Schumacher, built by Davie Norris Boatbuilders in New Zealand and launched in 2002. She spent her first 18 months cruising the South Pacific before reaching her home port of San Francisco. Since that time, Morpheus has been raced and cruised extensively. This blog will document her ongoing adventures.
