We are back at the dock in Palma, Majorca and what do you know but the marina that we selected ended up putting us right next to Brendon and Lois on Acheron!
We all met two years ago (perhaps more?) kitesurfing in the British Virgin Islands!
Great to catch up with them. They have been Captain and crew onboard Acheron for the past three years, but the boat has recently been sold and their time onboard ends in October. They are both looking forward to some land based time and perhaps the beginning of their family!! Best of luck to them.
To keep the small world thing going, Lois is very good friends with Lauren Mead whom I sailed with along with the rest of the Hong Kong YC team in the 2011 NYYC Invitational Regatta.
