Club Nautico de Seville has been our home here in Spain for the past month as we have toured other areas using Seville as our home base. This is a fantastic spot that any cruiser visiting Spain should consider.
The club itself is far more than a “Yacht Club” it would be more appropriate to call it a “Water Sports Club” with over 8000 members, of which there are more than 300 athletes in the rowing, canoeing, sailing, basketball, and swimming groups.
Club Náutico’s sports program produced the first Sevillian Olympians in Rome ’60, they were also represented in: Los Angeles ’84, Seoul ’88, Barcelona ’92, Atlanta ’96, Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, and Beijing 2008.
The combination of facilities and proximity to downtown Seville make Club Nautico a “don’t miss destination if you are ever nearby!”.
