Departure Plans

Morpheus docked at Barefoot Cay, Roatan, Honduras

With any luck it looks like things may fall in place for a departure this Sat. AM.  We’ve seen Roatan, all boat projects are done, and the weather is looking good.  Destination unknown at this point.  Maybe Cozumel, maybe Key West.  Will be great to be out sailing again!

  1. I hear there is room at the Yacht Club in Havana…;-)

Roatan to Key West is a long leg. You know your boat and your capabilities, but hmmm, just hmmmm. What's the longest passage you've made double-handed?

  2. I agree, and would love to stop by Havana. But, from what we hear that is still not an option. Roatan to Key West would be just over 600 miles or about 4 days. Pretty much the same as our Mexico to Costa Rica leg, but hopefully with better weather. The plan is to take advantage of the good weather for the next couple of days and then if things are still good keep going. Otherwise, Cozumel or Isla Muheres. Right now, it looks like stopping will win out.
