Morpheus was designed by Carl Schumacher, built by Davie Norris Boatbuilders in New Zealand and launched in 2002. She spent her first 18 months cruising the South Pacific before reaching her home port of San Francisco. Since that time, Morpheus has been raced and cruised extensively. This blog will document her ongoing adventures.
Making our way now through Gatun Lake. Looks like we will spend the night on the lake and then finish up tomorrow. No harm done so far!! Very interesting. Amazing actually!

Morpheus Sailing 
Hello to the crew of Morpheus. We talked to you today while you were tied to the tour boat we were on as we waited in the lock. Our tour ended in Balboa.
When you get to Rhode Island in the spring, come and visit the East Greenwich Yacht Club where we keep our boat VIVACE.¨
We could then share the pictures I took of you and your beautiful vessel Morpheus.
It was so exciting for us to see a sailboat going through the canal.
