Once again, a tropical storm/hurricane is part of the discussion on and around Morpheus. No doubt, we are a magnet for these things!!

So, this time the issue is whether or not we can leave as planned on Monday Oct 2nd for Bermuda.
On one side of the argument, we have a really nice forecast (other than a bumpy gulf stream crossing) with a port tack beam-reach all the way to Bermuda in comfortably warm sailing conditions.
On the other side, we have tropical storm Rina forecast to head generally towards Bermuda before making a right turn to the northeast.
Not to worry though because I have Routing Advisory Technology Services for Adventuresome Senior Sailors (RATSASS) on the job!!

RATSASS is led by Gibb Kane who has been helping us with weather for 20 years now! He helped us to successfully dodge our first hurricane near Hawaii in 2003!!
More soon…
