Hurricane Lee – Plan

In a move that breaks with our norm, we actually have a plan regarding how we will dodge this Hurricane.

Our friend Duncan Hennes has already had his boat hauled for the winter. While that might seem a little early to most of you, it is working out in a big way for us.

Duncan has offered us the use of his slip over the weekend. He keeps his boat in Westbrook, Ct. at the same marina that we used to store Morpheus during the past couple of winters. It is a great spot. Super protected, and 50 miles farther away from where we expect the hurricane center to pass.

The only downside is that we can only get in at high tide and that means we are getting up early tomorrow to leave Newport at 4am!!
