Travels With Tivoli

What a fun and interesting three plus weeks we’ve just had!

We met up, once again, with our Richmond Yacht Club friends Torben and Judy Bentsen in Deshaies, Guadeloupe in mid January and just said goodbye to them yesterday in Antigua.

While together we enjoyed time in Deshaies (hiking), Point-a-Pitre (by bus!), Les Saintes (“mountain climbing” & enjoying small town France!), Dominica (Super Bowl)and Marie Galante (visiting rum distilleries).

 

 

 

 

HISTORY

In 2010, Torben and Judy left RYC about two months before we did.  We’ve crossed paths many times since then and always manage to have a great time together.  I suspect we will find each other again and am looking forward to it.  In the meantime, here as some  pictures from our past get togethers…
