Why?

2008 – Pacific Cup

Long time friends Drake Sparkman and Rob Moore.  Not just friends, but “family” that shared my passion and unknowingly motivated me to meet their high standards.  One on the East Coast, one on the West Coast.  Both gone now, far too soon.

Heather (Drake’s wife) suggested yesterday that “Rob would be happy to see that Drake had the boat all rigged and ready”.  I liked that thought.

What are the odds??  So much left for them to enjoy and accomplish.  For now, I am the lucky one.  I’ll not waste the opportunity…

PS.  Despite the way it looks Drake was not sporting a mohawk.  Zoom in, that’s the top of the mountain perfectly centered over his head.  Debbie being clever???
